Koko is a tech-based nonprofit created by a team out of Airbnb and MIT. Our mission is to make mental health accessible to everyone. We believe the best way to do this, the best way to help millions of people, is to reach people where they are—online.
We partner with large social networks to help find and treat at-risk individuals directly on their platform. We’ve reached over 2M people so far and we’ve published seven peer-reviewed papers on our digital mental health interventions. We’ve worked with groups like Tumblr, Twitch, Airbnb, Pinterest, and many others.
